Yodawgs frozen yogurt

I’ve found a third place in Athens GA to get vegan frozen yogurt!

Besides Menchies and Your Pie (some have sorbet available next to the gelato), vegans can now go to Yodawgs frozen yogurt on Baxter street.

Yodawgs had a tropical sorbet and a mango sorbet available last week.  I checked the ingredient book to make sure that these are in fact vegan. Both flavors were tasty, but a little too sweet for me.  Their flavors reminded me of jolly ranchers.

Yodawgs has lots of toppings available: fresh fruit, cookies, candies, sprinkles, hot fudge, and even vegan strawberry syrup!

Orange Leaf frozen yogurt in Orlando – milk-free but not vegan

I’ve tried to find a yogurt place in Athens that has milk-free frozen yogurt, and none of them have it!

Fortunately, there is Orange Leaf in Orlando! Thanks to Danny for taking a picture of me acting like a tourist.

Orange Leaf offers self-serve frozen yogurt, with over 40 toppings, including fresh fruit like mango, kiwi, and strawberry, and other sugary sweets like sprinkles, hot fudge, and whipped cream.  The pineapple yogurt is milk-free but not vegan.  It contains sodium caseinate, a milk derivative. 

I tried the pineapple yogurt topped with mango and other goodies.
